Terms of Use

Last updated: May 19, 2026

These terms explain the basic rules for using HowToPlay5on5, a lightweight basketball playbook maker for drawing and organizing half-court play diagrams.

Use of the service

You may use HowToPlay5on5 to create, edit, preview, and organize basketball play diagrams. The current version is provided as a lightweight web tool and may change as the product develops.

Local autosave

Play diagrams may be saved in your browser localStorage. This means saved work is tied to the current browser and device. Clearing browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing may remove or hide saved plays.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to upload, publish, or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or misleading content. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer private systems, or abuse automated access.

Content ownership

You keep ownership of basketball plays and notes you create. By using future public sharing features, you may allow others to view the shared content through the generated link.

Service limitations

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep the basketball play diagram tool useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or that every feature will remain unchanged.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product adds accounts, cloud sync, exports, public sharing, or other features. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
